Non-Pressurized Fire Suppression System is an automatic fire protection solution designed to detect and suppress fires without continuously maintaining pressure in the extinguishing agent storage container. The system typically uses a pressurized or sealed extinguishing agent released through an electrically or thermally operated activation mechanism when a fire condition is detected. Upon detection by a compatible fire detection system, such as smoke, heat, flame, or linear detection, the release mechanism activates and discharges the extinguishing agent through strategically positioned nozzles or discharge points, rapidly suppressing the fire at its source. Depending on the application, suitable agents may include clean agents, aerosol-based agents, CO₂, or other approved extinguishing media. Non-pressurized systems can be particularly suitable for electrical and electronic equipment, control panels, machinery, server and communication enclosures, and other sensitive areas where water-based suppression may cause secondary damage. The system is designed for rapid response, minimal residue, reduced equipment damage, and reliable automatic fire protection, subject to the selected agent, enclosure design, and applicable fire-safety standards.
