Novec 1230 flooding system is a clean agent fire suppression system designed to protect enclosed spaces by rapidly extinguishing fires without damaging sensitive equipment. It uses a fluorinated ketone agent (FK-5-1-12) that is discharged as a gas, absorbing heat and interrupting the fire’s combustion process. The system is typically activated automatically by fire detection devices or manually in an emergency, releasing the agent evenly throughout the protected area to achieve total flooding. Novec 1230 is electrically non-conductive, leaves no residue, and is safe for use in occupied spaces when applied at design concentrations.
