A **Vehicle Fire Suppression System (VFSS)** is an integrated fire detection and extinguishing system designed to automatically detect, control, and suppress fires in vehicle engine compartments, battery compartments, transmission areas, hydraulic systems, and other high-risk zones. The system typically consists of a suppression agent storage cylinder, detection tubing or heat sensors, control and activation mechanisms, distribution piping, and strategically positioned discharge nozzles. When excessive heat or fire is detected, the system automatically activates and releases the extinguishing agent directly onto the fire source, rapidly suppressing flames and preventing fire spread. Most systems also include a manual activation option, visual and audible alarms, and pressure monitoring devices to ensure continuous operational readiness.
