A vehicle fire suppression system is a safety system designed to automatically detect and extinguish fires that may occur inside a vehicle, particularly in high-risk areas such as the engine compartment, fuel system, or battery enclosure. The system uses heat or flame sensors to identify a fire at an early stage and then releases a fire-suppressing agent, such as dry chemical, foam, clean gas, or water mist, to control or put out the fire quickly. By cooling the fire and cutting off oxygen, the system helps prevent the fire from spreading, reduces damage to the vehicle, and protects passengers, drivers, and nearby property. Vehicle fire suppression systems are commonly used in buses, trucks, construction equipment, mining vehicles, and specialized or high-value vehicles where fire hazards are greater.
